Our Objectives
Our primary objective is to provide appropriate Psychosocial Care with the persons adversely affected by Man-Made and Natural Disasters. Secondary objective involves attaining a deeper understanding of the Psychosocial Consequences of the disasters in Sri Lanka.
In support of these objectives,
- We carry out family-based psychosocial support programs in the disaster stricken communities.
- We work at the community levels to enhance the basic human rights of survivors of disasters.
- We work to develop community-oriented traditional support systems.
- We contribute to the management of the aftermaths of the disasters at the community levels.
- We conduct in depth study on disasters in the region we work.
